Expect your acupuncture treatment to last between 20 and 30 minutes. During this time you will lie on treatment table and I will insert acupuncture needles. Once the needles are inserted you will rest with the needles in place for about 20 minutes. Sometimes additional treatment modalities like infrared heat lamp or electro stimulation may also accompany your acupuncture treatment. Many patients fall asleep during the treatment. It is not painful; most patients find it relaxing & pleasant.
